The additions are currently being designed, and are slated to include an expanded cafeteria, expanded support services spaces and approximately 6 new classrooms and associated corridor space. The finishes in the addition will compliment and be consistent with those found in the existing facility after renovations have been completed. A separate bus loop from Lear Road is also being included to further separate bus and parent vehicular traffic and improve the overall safety of the site for the students. The school district is hopeful that the Avon Lake community will agree with the need for this project and vote to support the bond issue on November 3, 2009.

Eastview Elementary School will undergo focused renovations to its 40,205 SF of existing building area in conjunction with modest additions of approximately 9,537 square feet.
